Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) Progress

I'm in class right now at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina as we discuss how worldview influences ultimate purpose, which combine to influence the aims, which along with growth principle influence strategy (vision) of the organization or church.

Christian Life Assembly's ultimate purpose is to transform people into life giving followers of Jesus.

The big question then is what does a life giving follower of Jesus look like? How do we partner with the Holy Spirit to transform people into that picture? Great questions.

We've learned from you that the best way to find life in Jesus is to give our lives to others. Getting plugged into one or more of the many terrific ministries at CLA is the most rewarding way we know to invest our time. Taking a spiritual inventory and your leadership classes has helped each of our family members discover our God-given gifts, bringing us into partnership with the Holy Spirit as he works in our community. We can spend our lives striving for ourselves--money, belongings, power, recognition--but none of it has eternal value. Or we can give our efforts to people--what God values most.
